🐈 Izzy’s Corner

Izzy has been with me for 16 years…

and she was mine first.

Before my husband Tom, before Milo, before my daughter.

It was just me and her.

She’s been with me through so many chapters of my life, quietly present in ways only she could be.

This space is for her 🤍

We found out she’s been diagnose with cancer and kidney disease on 03/24/26.

This season has been a difficult one… we’ve learned that Izzy’s cancer is aggressive.

Surgery isn’t an option, especially given her age and the location of the mass under her tongue.

So right now, our focus is keeping her comfortable, cared for, and close.

We’re giving her pain support and the care she needs, doing everything we can to make sure she continues to have a good quality of life.

We’re focusing on comfort and quality of life, one day at a time.

She’s still a fighter. She still wants to cuddle, to play, to watch the birds and soak in the warmth of the sun.

There are good days and harder ones…but through it all, we’re right here with her 🤍

Milo, her little companion, is always nearby, still his playful, curious self 🐾

I created this space to honor her, and to share a small glimpse of the love she’s given me.

I wanted this space to live in Whiskerful forever as she has been such a constant companion in my life.

You are a fighter Izzy. I love you so much baby girl. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and being a constant love in my life for the past 16 years. I will be here for you as long as you allow me to. I wish you a long full life filled with joy and happiness. I hope you know how much we love you.
